Love the setting of this series, and the weaving of the 3 sisters loves and lives with the nosy but loving father.
I have read alot of Debbie' s books and have not found a bad one in the bunch. They get better and you feel like you are there with her characters.
Be careful though this is series is the Orchard Valley Brides so you don't buy same book twice.

YOUNG IMMATURE WOMAN TURNS INTO A WELL ADJUSTED LOVE FOR A MAN IN LOVE FOR YEARS WITH HER

Funny how some men feel like a six to eight years difference in age throw them into a loop. Women age more quickly then men so a few years make a difference I think. There are some men who never grow up I was married to one for forty seven years and our four children grew up but he never did. His own making therapies him my oldest kid. In they s story father Dave is starting to get a little to pushy and needs to cool it. Since Norah is supposed to have six children I wonder who her husband is going to be. I hope he is a man with a good income or is very rich to start off with. I sure am looking forward to see who he is, maybe one of the doctors she works with. They are going to be married just months apart or maybe together the way things are going. David is going to be skeptically busy with all the grand kids to take fishing and camping out.

The series of books in Orchard Valley are worth getting. Start with the first one and go right on through each to the end. You'll love how Debbie Macomber develops her character and the plots. Each of the books in this series really needs to be read in order so you know what's going on. Begin with: "Valerie" and then read "Stephanie". Next are "Norah" and last of all, "Lone Star Lovin'" There is a somewhat meddling old dad who's just interested in his daughter's happiness and their getting married and there does seem to be some weddings happening! Don't miss the action, all the "it's ok for you but not for me" that's going around, and the good humor in general. Why not get all 4 of the books and just settle in for a good time reading a series of 4??!!

June Parsons purchased her first computer, an Apple II+, in 1981 and quickly became fluent in BASIC, dBASE II, Lotus 123, WordStar, and a variety of accounting programs. The next year she opened a successful small computer retail store with Dan Oja that also offered software instruction to children and adults. Dr. Parsons taught at the university level for more than 20 years. She holds a doctorate in Educational Technology and was certified by the ICCP in 1995. Dr. Parsons began writing and creating educational software for Course Technology in 1992. She contributed to the Windows for Business and Illustrated Series and developed the New Perspectives, e-Course, and Practical series. She works via the Internet with a team of highly skilled media specialists and desktop publishers located in various states and provinces.

An esteemed professional and respected author, Dan Oja, along with June Parsons, purchased an Apple II+ in 1981 and quickly became fluent in BASIC, dBASE II, Lotus 123, WordStar, and a variety of accounting programs. TRUE LOVES ALWAYS WINS AND MAKES A WAY NO MATTER THE CAREER

This was a very enjoyable story. I find the experience that David had when he died on the operating table to be delightful and so convincing because I have heard these stories before. Valerie and Colby were soul mates and no matter the difficulties they have to iron out it can be done when you love someone that deeply. It should be very interesting when Valerie gets pregnant which I fell will be shortly after they marry after all she is already thirty one and he thirty six. Looking forward to the next story and Debbie Macomber never disappoints me.
